Welcome to Ipswich Cats Protection - a branch run entirely by volunteers.
Areas covered: Ipswich branch covers the post code areas IP1 - IP5 & IP7 - IP11.
Fund raising: We fund raise regularly, both to raise much needed funds for the cats and to raise the profile of the branch. We run a Christmas fete in Nov/Dec, charity nights and car boot sales. And we could do so much more with more volunteers. Our next planned events are
* Quiz night on Nov 27th at Bourne Vale social club. Get your team ready!
* A fabulous Christmas concert on Sat Dec 1st. Come along, sing your heart out and get into the Christmas spirit. Full details on our events page
We have our own charity shop - in a new town centre location on Queen Street in Ipswich - NOW OPEN.
Charity shop address:
20 Queen Street Ipswich IP1 1SS.

Do please come and visit us.
All our members receive newsletter updates on the cats, to which they are welcome to contribute articles/photos etc. Annual membership is only £5.00 per year. Details: email@example.com
The Cats: We do request a set fee of £60 for every cat or kitten. Cats Protection asks adopters for this fee when rehoming a cat. If you feel able to make a donation on top of this fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. We know times are hard, and thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat. For this fee, you will get a pet that is: microchipped, vaccinated, spayed or neutered if needed and treated for fleas / worms.
Our cats are always checked over by a vet before homing, and come with one months free pet insurance. See the homing page for further details of all we do for our cats, and the attendant costs. Please note we will home to rented accomodation only on receipt of your landlords written permission.
